Mrs. Wagenaar graduated from Chico State in 2004, with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics with an option in statistics. She then graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2007, with a masters degree in statistics. While attending the University of Kentucky she taught graduate and undergraduate classes for the statistics department. She spent the next eight years designing, writing and conducting clinical trials for the following organizations: Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA and UC Davis in Sacramento, CA. Mrs. Wagenaar, then Specialist Rankin, enlisted in the United States Army Reserves where she continued to serve until her medical discharged in 2014. After 11 years, Mrs. Wagenaar returned to Oroville where she was born and raised, and her family still resides. She has 4 years of classroom experience.
